"Comfortable, spacious and quiet room. The hotel is on a side street off of a very attractive plaza called Place Victor Hugo. This is an older building and it shows to some degree, but was very clean and the breakfast room was particularly nicely decorated. Staff was accommodating and helpful. The parking garage under the plaza is very new and has extra-wide parking spaces. The area is very walkable and picturesque, with pleasure boats lining the canals. "Does what it supposed to, there is a bed to sleep and a shower to wash. The room was very hot and the fan made too much noise to use. The window was left open all night but a lot of noise from the street. I think the check in time is slightly late. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. It was ok for one night. "

"Very clean, bright room, beside the Canal, safe storage for bicycles. Frriendly owners. Comfortable beds. Great view of the canal, bridge and Cathedral Note there is no kettle or coffee in the room, no fridge or microwave. However, there are places walking distance for drinks. Also, breakfast is available at the hotel."

"This is a two star hotel and doesn't make any pretensions of being anything else. Service on check in was friendly with the member of staff being helpful. The hotel is half way between the beach area and the town (where the train station is). The fixtures and fittings are rather dated. It was interesting that the shower in the bath had no wall fitting. However, it should be remembered that the rate is reasonable for the area. "
