We had two rooms, both were grubby, and one had bathroom so small knees touched the wall opposite when on the toilet!! Didn't even bother bathing the children as bath dirty and tiles needed grouting. "I was hacked off both with the hotel and with hotels.com. Upon our arrival, we found that this hotel was closed up and evidently no longer trading. The reception door was not just locked but chained up. There was no-one around. No furniture in reception and litter on the floor. Telephoned but the call was rejected. Had to find another hotel urgently. This was despite hotels.com sending me the usual e-mail a few days before reminding us of our booking and wishing me a good stay. I only hope that...
