"I do not like to write reviews like this. The facility overall was shabby, though my room was clean. The restaurant and pool mentioned in the Expedia listing were both closed (for a very long time). I had no clean water in the bathroom sink or tub. The onsite manager was very polite and helpful. "

"I stay at the Cow Palace every year in November when I go hunting out that way. And my expectations, while never high, are generally met. Rooms are ok, staff is ok, things are clean, and things work. Not this time. The Wi-Fi wasn’t present in my room. No signal whatsoever. The refrigerator was not,nor would it get, cold. I stayed two nights and adjusted it both ways, so I’m pretty sure it was broke. The timer on the heat lamp wouldn’t shut off the light either. All this was pretty minor...
