"If you are a backpacker this might be okay for you, but was bad for us. The rooms are extremely hot with no AC and a small fan that does nothing. Leon is the hottest city in the country, and also breakfast was not included in room price. Cannot recommend, although staff seemed friendly and location was good."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sleeping Dog. The room was a good size and all the beds were new and comfortable. The kitchen was large and clean and perfect for self catering and there was a nice area to eat or chill. Breakfast pancakes went down a treat and the management and staff were all friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to all."

"Very pleasant room, and air conditioner and WiFi both worked well. Noisy dogs on one side, noisy roosters on the other, but we rather enjoy this kind of noise. The first morning, there were workmen in the next room and on the roof by 8 a.m. or earlier, less pleasant noise, but maybe they were trying to get the water back on (if so, we were grateful). No real hot water and the shower handle didn't work well, so sometimes it was difficult to get any water at all in the shower. Once all of the...
