"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sleeping Dog. The room was a good size and all the beds were new and comfortable. The kitchen was large and clean and perfect for self catering and there was a nice area to eat or chill. Breakfast pancakes went down a treat and the management and staff were all friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to all."

"Very pleasant room, and air conditioner and WiFi both worked well. Noisy dogs on one side, noisy roosters on the other, but we rather enjoy this kind of noise. The first morning, there were workmen in the next room and on the roof by 8 a.m. or earlier, less pleasant noise, but maybe they were trying to get the water back on (if so, we were grateful). "Cute, clean and right in the city of Leon. Mins to cathedral and main square. Friendly staff who constantly had to let me in and out, with all smiles. I would recommend this place. One thing, which is a problem for Nicaragua as a whole is the showers. The shower head and jet stream needs some tlc. Other than that our family had a great time here."
