"At first glance I was slightly concerned with it being small and the cars being parked right outside the hotel room door however, my check in was easy and the man (owner I think) was very pleasant and apologized for having me wait perhaps a little longer than normal but I wasn’t complaining because he was outside shoveling the freshly fallen snow from the walkways and mind you, this was at 11 pm. "Marcus was a great host! Clear and very helpful. The pictures did not do it justice on how lovely the place is. It felt lived in but we also didn’t feel like we were intruding. The calming wood fire smell greeting us when we came in set the mood for the rest of weekend. "Our group had a blast staying at this lovely house. We should have extended the stay longer. The kids had fun kayaking, pedaling, and rowing the boat which were provided by the home owner. The adults enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the gorgeous lake. The interior of the house is very modern and cozy. When opportunity arise, I’ll like to book another weekend getaway there.
