"Pleasantly surprised! Booked for night before early and LONG travel to Singapore. No need to spend $500 in Waikiki to wake at the crack of dawn to catch our flight. Arrived late afternoon, restaurant vastly exceeded expectations, staff all very professional and accommodating. Room is fine, wish they had tile or vinyl instead of carpet but thats a preference. Quiet for how close to the airport. The $300 saved plus the extra sleep make this a win!"

"Unhelpfully cancelled on the day we were meant to arrive. I didn't know the area at all as I had never been there and asked for suggestions for else where to stay and didn't even get a reply. She said there was water damage that needed to be fixed, maybe, but could have at least given some ideas on where else to stay."

"Beds comfortable. I had to contact owner for info one hour before check in time, while driving. Info hadn't been sent. Doorknobs and doorframes could use good scrubbing. Fans in each . Had beach chairs and umbrella for useroom. Very convenient for Laie"

"The Shaka Studio was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy and location of this lodging, since it was close to many places on our "must see" list, such as Waimea Valley. Micah answered our texts and phone calls whenever help was needed, so we would definitely stay here again if looking for a place to crash around NE Oahu. Mahalo for having us!"

"The house is lovely. They have supplied the home with many things that a person might need, beach towels, coffee, dishes, etc. The neighborhood is nice. The house is about an hour drive from Waikiki. So we were out of the hustle and bustle but close enough that we could visit places like Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, etc. Our only drawback was we picked this location because they have a pool and hot tub in the community.
