"Room was poor. I asked if we could gave another chair in the room as there was two of us. I was reminded i was in an economy double, so no chance. In-room tea bags. From all 4 corners of the world, but English breakfast tea - no chance. Breakfast was warm and that's being generous. Server said it's because people keep opening and closing the food containers. Because of a long journey i asked reception if there was any quiet rooms. She said all rooms were quiet - not so. Thus hotel comes across...

"We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay."

I rang the number and they were very accommodating as it was only for 1 night and no breakfast. It’s a shame really that hotels.com failed to respond to the client so as to inform me: however the hotel was lucky and a great recommendation for dinner. "
