We called this number and were diverted to another hotel, the Beausejour, ten minutes walk away. The room here was shabby with no wifi and no breakfast available."

It was lovely to be separate from the main hotel building and the charming manageress said we could stay on up there if we wanted for the rest of our stay. "We have stayed here a few times when travelling down from Eurotunnel. Always comfortable and convenient with a good restaurant and good safe parking. Under new management since our last stay and if any thing, better than ever."

"The staff were very welcoming. It’s a bit difficult to get to the hotel as it stands on one side of what used to be a railway crossing that has been decommissioned. My GPS was very confused. This is an old hotel that feels a bit tired."
