"We had a very pleasant three day stay and the hotel staff could not have been nicer. We were quite early in the season (beginning of October), so perhaps we should not have been surprised to be the only hotel guests - but we certainly got lots of attention! Must do things: Trek malayattoor, see Elephants bath on Periyar river, get oil massage in Kerala style and very importantly try Kerala food :)
