"It was a great experience. I felt totally safe as a single woman traveling alone. Amazing location. "

"Very central to main shops and tourist sites. It's very modern but still needs attention . No toilet seats no dishes to put in oven, no kitchen towels or brush and pan . The couch was very uncomfortable and was a bet that was broken. Bno information on how to use facilities. The door key code was handle was difficult at first not the key box . I would stay again if the couch was replaced and toilet seats fitted. I sent pictures to Smart flats for there attention."

"We only stayed for one night whilst the Christmas market was on. Hotel is very convenient to the centre and trams are a short walk away. The gentleman on reception was lovely and very helpful. Lots of interesting traditional furniture and artefacts in the hotel. Room was large with a modern bathroom. "

"The entire experience was great. The location was ideal, room was clean and spacious. The property was very clear and swift on instructions for checking in and parking. Also dog friendly. Overall would recommend The Hide to absolutely everyone travelling to Ghent. "

"Room was very small, making it virtually impossible to open a suitcase for a change of clothes. Air conditioning was via a portable unit, which had to vent into the corridor. This meant that to have anything like an acceptable temperature in the room, the door had to be left open all night. There is a glass partition between the shower/toilet and the beds, giving very little privacy. However close you are to your travelling companion, you are unlikely to want to be in such close and open...

"The room was nice...cozy...shower ok bathroom is outside but next door. The kitchen didn't have any cooking oil so I asked the lady at the reception if she could provide me something. She said no...I had to insist a lot so that she called her boss who told her to buy a bottle of oil at the shop in front of the hostel. She could have been more attentive and proactive. But the lady at the reception next day was really friendly."

"Spent two nights here while attending the passchendaele 100 memorial events and I was pleasantly surprised how large and comfortable the room was, especially the bathroom which was huge. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of good quality coffee hot croissant's and fruit bread. We booked an evening meal on the second night and it really was fantastic, the locally produced steak was cooked to perfection and cray fish starters were delicious. This is a family run hotel and it's abundantly clear ...

"I simply loved the appartment - its spaciousness, structure, terrace, location, a very good wifi connection, and everything that the area has to offer. I especially loved the feeling of luxury of space that this appartment offers. There were some minor issues like absence of soap, shortage of teaspoons, teacups, teapot, etc., also a worn coach in the living room. I also thought that the doors could close quiter - I think the doors are banged because otherwise it is rather difficult to close it...

"I didn't like the managers very rude i experienced the worst i would never recommend this hotel heating not working no drinking glass in room even i ask reception the answer was negative. Don't if hoteljust dormitory"
