"Surrounded by beautiful rice fields, wilderness and Peacocks this is an ideal place for who seeks a secure place for rest and respite. The hotel staff was amazingly nice and ready help. Those who travel from East like Trincomalee or Arugambay this would be an ideal rest stop. My meals by a la carte were delicious. "It’s a hard Hotel to review because it’s so old and unique. I loved the history of the Queens Hotel. I believe it was build in Colonial times by the British tea plantation owners. It’s right in the centre of town next to a beautiful lake. The pool is huge and very clean. The buffets were excellent with a variety of local, Indian and European food. The hotel is also reasonably priced."
