"We loved our stay at Kandy Shady Trees thanks to the very welcoming and accommodating nature of our hosts. The room we stayed in was large and very comfortable and breakfast was fresh and substantial. The location is up a steep hill (we took a tuk tuk up and down it) but could be walked. "It wasn’t good. We arrived late to nobody being around. We had to ask for facilities to cook and for the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work very well. The room wasn’t clean, with us finding hairs in the sheets the bathroom constantly smelling. I reckon once, it was brilliant but now it’s rubbish. Not even in a good location. "

"The hotel is lovely but dated. It’s in the middle of a residential area, and although google maps says it’s a 20 mins walk to the town centre, it doesn’t account for the monster hills! There was no cleaning in the room whilst we were there, water was charged at an exceptional rate, which we weren’t told about. The staff were very friendly though, and couldn’t help us enough, as we were one of two couples in the hotel during this our of season period. "

"Days Inn is located at the top of a hill which means great views but a long walk up! Our bedroom had a little balcony which was nice and the room was clean. Our bathroom had an open drain and did not smell great which was a downside. The breakfast was fresh fruit and eggs with toast each morning which was well prepared, however we were hoping for more traditional style breakfasts! "

"First Location is not as it is showing on Hotels.com or Google.com, it is far off. I wouldn't book it if I would knew it is that far. Second, it is not a hotel, it is a homestay! I don't book home stays (just my preferences). Owners were sleeping in next room to mine. Third, my room should be "room with a private bathroom", and I had to SHARE my bathroom with two other rooms/families. I wouldn't book it as well. People who lives there are nice. BUT i would like to get what is advertise on...
