"We stayed in the hotel because of Sinharaja rain forest. Location is good, close to city but quiet for sleep. Hotel is very wear off and needs proper cleaning of everything. Owner is nice and helpful is you need to manage something."

"I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. "Natscha and her assistant Ajit run this wonderful small guesthouse. If you are looking for an authentic, local experience then stay here. But, it is not that easy to get to, The road to the bungalow is largely unpaved and steep but, for us, that was all part of the attraction. The surroundings are beautiful - lush green jungle, beautiful rice paddies, local temples etc. But, if you don't have your own vehicle then it is not possible to get out at night. The cuisine is local and very good....
