"We have had a very pleasant stay. The room was very good value and breakfast was super tasty. We enjoyed the location next to the old railway. Took a brisk walk into town and enjoyed drinks and cinema. Thankyou to the joyful young couple running the accommodation very sweet"

Location good although we didn’t have the chance to explore as we were meeting friends for a Christmas lunch the next day. Room was nice and warm and the bed comfortable. "What a wonderful mini break for my husband and I plus our two little dogs. We stayed at The Fox and were greeted warmly by staff on arrival. Everyone was so friendly. The town was absolutely stunning, gorgeous buildings, quaint shops and pubs. We ate in The Fox on our first night and the food was wonderful and great value for money! Our little dogs enjoyed their stay also and were fussed over by everyone! Highly recommend The Fox if you’re in the area"

"Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com"
