"Would have liked a downstairs room . But didn’t happen even though I asked to reserve at time of booking , many weeks before arrival . Receptionist did apologise on arrival for not being able to give us this . "

"The hotel is a great historic building with lots of charm. The room had been renovated and was very clean. The owner was very welcoming and provided excellent suggestions for dinner. The breakfast was very good with fresh baguette from the boulagerie across the street as well as artisanal cheeses. I would not hesitate to stay there again. "

"A good, basic place to stay that met all our requirements for one night. Location is great, felt very safe and staff was really pleasant and helpful. Nothing fancy, but it worked well for my husband and me. Also, for 10 euros the breakfast definitely worth it."

"We arrived at the hotel hot and tired. to find it was closed. We had no prior warning, only a notice on the door giving a telephone number. We called this number and were diverted to another hotel, the Beausejour, ten minutes walk away. The room here was shabby with no wifi and no breakfast available."

"We arrived a day earlier than our booking and we were accommodated in the upstairs room (with ensuite added) in original old wooden at the back of the garden. It was lovely to be separate from the main hotel building and the charming manageress said we could stay on up there if we wanted for the rest of our stay. "Easy to find, good parking, convenient for Dieppe ferry. Clean room, nice hot shower. We found the very flat square pillows a little uncomfortable for sleeping but other than that very nice stay. We’ll return when we next travel to UK.The proprietress was very helpful and friendly."
