"Absolutely fabulous hotel. We loved our stay here. The room was lovely (clean, comfortable and spacious) and we had a nice view (worth paying a bit extra for). The staff (Monica in particular) were very friendly and hospitable. There is free tea/coffee all day and the breakfast spread is amazing including freshly squeezed orange juice. "

"A very old stone building very nicely renovated and modernized. Our room had small windows but the stone fireplace and old sink were gorgeous; the A/C worked great. We had the hotel breakfast one morning--it was fine, reasonable cost; but there are plenty of cafés nearby as well. Alda corp evidently runs several similar hotels in Santiago. "

"Lovely overnight stay. Right at the heart of things in the city. Small but all you needed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was continental but very suitable. Car park, local, was a short walk away but we managed to unload at the hotel "

"Great location right next to the cathedral. Only issue was that the hotel is unmanned and everything is digital (access, room key etc) and instructions were in Spanish. We weren't expecting this after a very tiring long walk from Arzua, but we should have read our emails more carefully before we arrived!"

"Great find! A restored country residence with fab views, huge grounds, a pool and peace and quiet. (Apart from when there are kids in the pool. LOL). Set menu dinner was fine but pricey. "

"Nice apartment centrally located near the cathedral and tourist attractions. I enjoyed the big space and outdoor balcony and kitchen. Good communication with the host and easy check in. "

"While we enjoyed our stay, the bathroom was a bit tight and the electrical outlets did not all work properly. Otherwise, the hotel was located in close proximity to many of the sites worth seeing. "

" Self check in. Cool! Fine for a one night stay. Feels like an undecorated dorm room. No frills like blow dryer, coffee pots etc. It was very clean Air condition barely or not working so opened windows and endured alot of road noise and humidity (it was raining). Might get hot in late summer Construction work next door with loud tapping started early in the morning. Super annoying. Directions on parking not clear. Need to make sure people know not to park in front at night. Great location by all...
