The owner seems quite grumpy any time you try to ask him a question. We had to leave early, before the breakfast offering, the young woman at front desk said they’ll have take away sandwiches for us. But in the morning, the owner was in the front and waved us away. We had a very long day of Camino ahead of us and would have prepared the day...

"It was very bad weather in Braga and they let me have my room early as I was wet through and my room was ready. This was good. At night I asked if I had already paid for breakfast and they said I hadn't. I asked what the cost was. They did not ask me to reserve or pay, and they said next morning that I couldn't have breakfast because I hadn't reserved it the previous evening. Eventually, and because I could speak Portuguese, they allowed me to have their breakfast. Payment €3.50"
