"This hotel was a nice oasis for us when we came to town after the death of a relative. The front desk staff and housekeeping were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is simple but adequate. We loved the cappuccino machine! It was very convenient to use and great for the cold temps. Our TV had a problem and they fixed it right away. Highly recommend this property."

"Kim is wonderful and helpful! This is a no frills motel. If you want a cheap clean room, a basic place to sleep (bring your own pillow if you are picky about pillows), shower (water gets HOT, pressure is fairly good; bring your own towels if you use/want big towels and/or plush/soft/new ones), and do not need any amenities (no chair for desk in room with two beds, no hair dryer, no hangers) this is the place to stay. Can't beat the price. Stayed two nights last week and am typing this in my room...

"This was our second visit to Lafayette and we wanted to get to know the town better. Check-in was made easy with keyless entry. The Nest is a fun and unique place to stay in the downtown area within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. There were lots of nice amenities above and beyond a nice hotel, including a fully functional kitchen and washer and dryer available to use, which would be ideal for a longer stay. We definitely recommend it and would stay here again."
