"Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist. The photos of the hotel do not describe the property correctly. While you can see the hotel building on the photos, our room was in some low rise (1 floor) building which you enter from the outside. The bathroom was renovated except for the floor tiles which have seen better days (the same tiles were in the room as well). The room had such a strong chemical smell that was there to probably mask some other smell, which unfortunately was still coming...

"Room was on third floor, no elevator. Shower was tiny. Shower head very low. No soap holder. Leak around the sink. The only chair in the room was broken. Decoration was non existent. An old, badly kept room. I would not recommend this hotel. "

"Please note the town shuts down at 8 PM. They close the hotel and do NOT wait for you to check in. Fortunately a much nicer hotel was down by the actual beach and accommodated us. It worked out bc it was a far superior hotel and not much more money compared to the new Windsor. Stay somewhere else but def visit Etretat. "

"We looked forward to staying at the Oscar. Upon arrival no one at reception and no instructions about what to do. I located the telephone number on Hotels.com and spoke with someone who gave me the entry code and then sent a text with information. The room was in need of paint and a deep cleaning. Breakfast was an insult, a few pieces of bread, orange juice and coffee and very rude help. No butter, jam, fruit, yogurt, cheese, etc. unlike a normal petit déjeuner in any hotel.
