"The staff were friendly & welcoming, the hotel was mostly clean but some areas of the room had been poorly cleaned. My issue is with the decor of the room. Bare concrete walls are not conducive to a welcoming, comfortable stay, no matter what artistic crap reason you give for stinting on the decorating. The lighting was dingy & swallowed by the heavy, dark walls. Coupled with the extremely small size of the room it felt like a prison cell. It's a shame as the bathroom was great & the staff...

We had a such a lovely time - amazing property, very warm and roomy and beds in quirky places, plenty of towels and great communication from the host, especially about us hiring a spa specialist to come to the property for chilled hen do spa treatments. "We stayed for 6 nights and had a great time. The hut was fully equipped with everything you need and was very cosy. We didn’t have the best weather but we lit the log burner and we’re lovely and warm. The area is absolutely beautiful and we had several long walks and runs. The night sky was amazing. As there’s no light pollution you can see so many stars. It’s quite remote but there is a shop about 15 minute walk away. We enjoyed being away from it all. "

"The pictures were n the sight are deceiving,the property was damp and dirty and we could not stay in it,apparently it was cleaned two weeks prior to our stay,cleaning should have been done the day before,the owner was very uncooperative,and has not issued a refund ,indeed he has ignored my request"
