"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. We spent hours hiking in the woods and playing kickball on the main lawn. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. "Great for an overnight stop on a long road trip. Lots of food outlets nearby which was helpful. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient. The en-suite bathroom was a bit like an airplane cabin which wasn't our favourite, but the shower was hot with good pressure so just a matter of preference. Amazing value. Our dog loved the grassy area to the rear of the property having been stuck in the car for 2 days of driving."
