"The location is excellent- central to everything there is to see in Barcelona for a first visit. Front desk was ok at checkout, not all that friendly but helpful enough to get us what we needed. The room was small but the bed is comfy and the bathroom was clean and spacious for two."

"Hotel Monegal is in the heart of Barcelona. It’s right on Las Ramblas, the street that doesn’t sleep and next to the metro. The front desk staff were very friendly. They have luggage storage. The room was quite spacious and clean. Maybe a bit of updating would be nice. The private bathroom was very small. If you are a large person, it wouldn’t work for you. I loved having a balcony looking onto Las Ramblas. The beds were not much to sleep on. They moved around quite a bit. I feel like they need...
