"We enjoyed our stay here, the lobby and main area is modern and comfortable and has entertainment (fusball and table tennis) The budget room was slightly underwhelming and basic but the beds were comfortable and the shower good Staff were friendly and helpful The area was a bit of a walk to the city with not many interesting places to stop along the way so would recommend taking a bus straight to the city"

The breakfast choice was very good and plentiful and the restaurant at night offered good meals if you didn't want to travel elsewhere. Overall experience was good and staff were always helpful."

"The property is nice and good value in a great location. The one disappointment is that there was zero communication. Everything was communicated through AI bots. I had messaged to ask if there was a hairdryer before our trip. AI said yes but when we arrived there was no hairdryer. Several messages per day received only AI replies and it was never resolved. Go prepared to have no help when needed."

"It is an historic hotel with many antiquities in the décoration. The location is perfect near the canal. It is quiet but there is no escalator and the room was on the 5th floor. The beakfast was included and we liked the food. But ithe price for a night is a bit expensive. The owner was a gentleman ."

"Room was very small, making it virtually impossible to open a suitcase for a change of clothes. Air conditioning was via a portable unit, which had to vent into the corridor. This meant that to have anything like an acceptable temperature in the room, the door had to be left open all night. There is a glass partition between the shower/toilet and the beds, giving very little privacy. However close you are to your travelling companion, you are unlikely to want to be in such close and open...

"The location was very walkable and overall the space was large and very ideal. Unfortunately I felt the condition of the property lacked care as there were several things broken (including the front door lock to the building) and there was a certain smell of vomit in the shower which I messaged the host about and they did not return my message about. Unfortunate because the space and location have a lot of potential if the ownership took more care and cleaned the place better."

"Spent two nights here while attending the passchendaele 100 memorial events and I was pleasantly surprised how large and comfortable the room was, especially the bathroom which was huge. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of good quality coffee hot croissant's and fruit bread. We booked an evening meal on the second night and it really was fantastic, the locally produced steak was cooked to perfection and cray fish starters were delicious. "Its a beautiful family company. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. I even had a good chat with 1 of the owners! Everything was on point. Can't even describe how stunning the room was.
