"Rose Tor is situated perfectly in downtown. We loved walking around the night we arrived and seeing the nightlife around town. The breakfast was delicious the next morning! All of the staff was extremely accommodating and gracious. The hotel is quaint, and we loved it!"

"We had a really fantastic night at the Shepherds Hut! Its a truly stunning setting and very well appointed little hut, the gas fire is great and the underfloor heating gives some real comfort! A few improvements in regards to communication, location details and a welcome book with instructions for the fire, local information etc would really raise this to the PERFECT destination! Can imagine this place would be amazing in the summer with the Alpacas and Peacocks walking around the paddock in...

"The shepherds hut is in a beautiful rural position with excellent views. It is extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. You have a lovely terrace, a garden area with a picnic table and fire pit. With peacocks and alpacas to watch it really is a fantastic rural experience. The owners Carol and Don are really helpful and friendly. We would certainly return and recommend."

"Real hidden gem. Not so interesting from the outside, but very nice inside indeed. All was comfortable with enough space. Big enough for 2 persons with all you can wish for. The only advice I could give is to have more then just 4 pieces of cups, plates and everything. This can not fill the dishwasher."
