"After dark arrival made this a good choice. Easy, short walk from train. My single room was exceptionally clean and had all essentials. Breakfast was a highlight. Reception staff kindly assisted and tolerant of my language deficit. Would highly recommend. "

"We stayed for 3 nights in Sept 13. As always rooms in French hotels are basic and without tea making facilities. However the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The food was pricey but excellent, all home made and it was obvious that a great deal of time had been spent in its preparation. The location is surrounded by good beaches and the area is good for cycling and walking. Many good cafes etc serving excellent sea food. We will certainly stay here again."

"The couple who runs the place are both very lovely people, incredibly kind and eager to make my stay enjoyable. I was in Le Pouliguen for a wedding, rather than personal vacation, and the limit of my French is 'I do not speak French'.
