"Summary We'd recommend the Bamboo house for one night specifically to the do the hike only. Go for the cheapest room. We booked two nights at the bamboo house, via Hotels.com, with the idea of hiking Mount Batur. Presumably like many other people visiting the area. We booked the king size deluxe room, the one with the triangular bamboo ceiling/roof, which was twice the price of a standard room. When we arrived we were shown to a standard room. "One of the best hidden gem in Kintamani area. This place has best view of mountain and lake. All staff is very friendly & helpful. The access to property is a bit confusing, you should ask around in case if you got lost. But it’s super worth it. I want to come back again for sure!"

"This home stay is great value for money. You can sleep somewhere and even get breakfast if you need to stay somewhwere overnight waiting for boats for Gilies or so. You have to be on budget and to love this kind of culture in order to appreciate bathroom and lack of air in the room. On the positive side, it will be hard to get this kind of value for the money you paid. It is in central location, has beautifull terase and very friendly and pleasent host. "
