"Starting with the good, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the furniture was in good condition. Right now though, there are major renovations happening at the hotel. The elevator had a serious clunk when going both up and down, which was a little unnerving. There’s a lot of road noise from a nearby highway. On the fourth floor, the Internet did not work at all. It worked fine on the first floor. And the shower took a full 7 minutes to get warm enough to make it usable. Guessing...

"Best place to stay in Appomattox. Convenient food next door in the day. Sheetz 12 minutes away if you need late night food. Staff was great with my late 11pm checkin. Bed and pillows super comfortable. Suites are lovely with pots, pans, utensils, stove, and huge fridge. I just wanted to lay in bed watching tv all day. "

"Excellent little motel. You can really tell the owners have worked hard to make the rooms clean and beautiful. There are so many little thoughtful details. You can tell they love their little motel and are putting in the extra effort to make it a special place."
