"I know a lot of the reviews have been negative but this lodge is just a simple, comfortable motel. The rooms haven’t been renovated so they’re a little run down but almost everything was spotless and the linens were clean. I’d say just some of the corners were a bit dusty and there were some hard water stains in the sink. The mattresses are a little saggy but were still decently comfortable. "Nice cheap hotel, 5 minute walk to all the city of Seward has to offer. Free coffee, water, and tea available 24/7. Easy access to extra towels, toiletries, and an ice maker. Dirty lamp over the bed, didnt bother me but dirty nontheless"

"There was a handwritten note welcoming us to the hotel room. It made me feel the hospitality and pride of the housekeeping staff. When we called the front desk for an issue with the tv reception, they we helpful and quickly responded. "

"Gorgeous view, incredible breakfast and very accommodating. Allowed us to store our bikes in their garage due to rain. It’s a popular spot cause of how awesome it is so it was fully booked when we stayed. Everyone was nice and courteous however the walls and doors aren’t well insulted so you could hear murmuring through the rooms and all the plumbing.
