"What a pleasant surprise. Everglades City is off the beaten path. I wasn’t expecting much in the way of hotels. This property exceeded expectations. The staff was helpful and had excellent recommendations for places to dine."

"Nicely remodeled rooms in an older, worn property. Outside area looks a bit rundown, but is in process of being redone. Could use some flowers for landscaping. Staff very responsive to correcting minor room issues. It's a quirky property, so don't expect the sterile uniformity of a large motel firm brand. Beds, bathroom, AC all good. Fair sized refrigerator, microwave and a sink for food prep."

"This was the perfect spot for us! Away from all the traffic and crowds. If you are looking for a quiet place with kind and courteous staff, this is the place for you. You do have to drive to shop or dine... for us, this was fine. Quick access for airboat or kayak tours. A marina and fishing charters on site. Plenty of fishing right at your door! Employee named Jamie even took time to show us around the grounds and gave recommendations on places to visit. He was very friendly and helpful! They...
