Owner is always there and very involved with making sure we were taken care of. It was a wonderful experience both at hotel and the beautiful city of Caen."

"Budget hotel so for the cost it is extremely good value. Would have liked a hand towel for the separate sink area, but just two bath towels provided for the wet room style toilet/shower. Continental style breakfast was good for the first two days, but on our last day (a Monday) there was very little on offer. The room was small but adequate and the bed was very comfortable. "A small but pleasantly surprisingly hotel located just a the southern end of the main street with plenty of good restaurants. Also only a short drive from the ferry terminal. Very limited parking on site, but free parking between 19:00hrs and 09:00hrs is available next to the local tourist office immediately to the North. "

"We spent 10 days at la Résidence Les embruns in September, and we loved it. It's an older property that would benefit from some renovations and updates (like a fresh coat of paint all over). That said, it's very close to the wonderful beach, and also services like a grocery store (Carrefour Market). Carole at the reception desk is a pleasure to deal with. Downtown is about one kilometre away, an easy and pleasant walk. Very recommended."
