"We needed to stay somewhere for one night as our previous reservation was messed up by us. This hotel was available and was fine for one night. There were only two small towels and we would have had to pay one euro each for anymore. They also required us to pay in cash. It was a little out of the way but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable."

Room was basic but adequate for a short stay, only downside was the shower ( we had read previous reviews so knew this might be an issue) it was snug & water came out in bursts rather than a constant flow."

"It's fine. Cheap place to stay. The noise is the biggest issue. There were dogs barking in reception one morning and no attempt from anyone to quiet them down. On the last night there was someone in a room practicing opera from 10pm til gone midnight. Think they need to remind guests and staff this is a hotel and people are trying to sleep. But as I say it's clean, cheap and staff were friendly."

"The hotel itself was great. It had a retro feel which we loved and the staff were lovely. However, it seemed we couldn’t leave and re-enter after 10pm as we didn’t get a key to the main door. It also felt quite unsafe outside as there were many men hanging around trying to talk to you as you looked for the entrance. The entrance is quite concealed, so would be useful to be given instructions on how to find it. "

"It was a little difficult to find as it's set back from the main road. My Satnav found the right address but after driving round a one-way system several times, I had to leave my car in a nearby carpark then go looking on foot. "Quirky little place. No curtains in any of the rooms we saw, just a heavy lace. Your door was either deadlocked or open, no snib lock, turn your hot water on 10 minutes before your shower or it will be cold, very little storage space and small bathroom.
