"The home was lovely and cozy with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.Sunsets on the river were amazing and we saw a variety of wildlife including a bald eagle, a fox, herons and lots of Canada geese.We’d like to return in warmer weather to enjoy the screened porch and water activities."

"I surprised my husband by whisking him off for a Valentine's Day of fun at RAR brewery with two of our best friends from college - and then we walked down the street to stay at the beautiful Drinking Gourd. Such a lovely place. HUGE high ceilings and wonderful old doors, mixed with all the modern conveniences we needed for a night. Loved it."

"Photos are accurate and it was great to have a dock to go out on. It was very peaceful. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch any fish or crabs in late August. House has a comfortable layout. Lots of outdoor games for kids. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Close to Cambridge lighthouse, RAR brewery, and blackwater nature reserve. NOTE: If you plan on cooking with your group, I’d recommend bringing some basics, knives and serving bowls. The kitchen did have good pans, pots and lids. "
