I spent a night there before heading north to the beach and my room had lots of character with beautiful sculpted wood furnishings. The bathroom was not renovated, unlike the room itself. It was functional but not inviting. No bottled water was provided which would be nice at least to brush your teeth (can’t drink the water in Zanzibar). The mosquito net had some holes in it. The staff’s English is very limited,...
