"Great basic hotel close to the airport. We stayed here for 1 night as we did last year also when our flight home was cancelled. It’s located right in the heart of Gouvia so perfect to explore the beach and marina. The rooms are very very basic, no tea/coffee facilities but you do have a fridge. The A/C is an extra €6 per day and a 3rd bed in the room is an extra €30. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We would defo absolutely return due to its location. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at El Greco, all of the staff were very nice and helpful. The room had a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. For breakfast they accommodated my gluten free dietary requirements which was great. The staff even helped us out when our car battery died! Would highly recommend."

"I came here on my own and couldn’t have been made more welcome. It’s a small hotel and my room was modern, clean and comfortable. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the small resort, I was only there a few days and didn’t venture further but not a long hop up to Corfu town. Breakfast is good and the lunch menu is very nice too. The taverna next door is excellent. You can get a little row ferry for a few coins over the river to explore the next beach along. "

"Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Pool area was comfortable. Rooms are a bit outdated but netflix on tv is great.the view from our balcony was lovely. The hotel is built from lower ground to high ground so if you have any difficulties walking make sure you get a room on the lower level. Walk into lakka is about 10 mins from the beach front. The staff from nepal are amazing. "

"Very disappointed with this hotel. We were expecting cheap and cheerful for the price we paid, but nowhere did it say small bedroom and tiny bathroom. We have never seen a bathroom so small in our lives. Anyone carrying an extra few pounds, should give this hotel a miss. "Great location next to all the restaurants and bars as well as nightlife. It’s a wonderful family owned place with a great bar and fantastic indoor and outdoor patio. They always remember you by name everytime you walk in. Great reviews and will be back. Only con, it’s a bit far from the airport because Kavos is a happening area at the end of the island. I would take a bus from the airport there because taxis are outrageous. Good thing is, everything is great on Kavos. Rent a car if you can. You...

"The property is right on Barbati beach which was 50m walk from our door. The staff were amazing, we also extended our stay and they were most accommodating. Its about 10 minutes to ipsos where there are countless restaurants and bars. Supermarkets are everywhere, scooter hire as well. Planning to return in the near future. "
