"Part of a road trip down though Switzerland onto Italian Lakes. Was a great convenient choice with a great steak restaurant next door. Breakfast was good but the queuing for the coffee machine was too long and affected the whole buffet queue! "

Check-in via the handy external kiosk demanded immediate full payment even though the room had been prepaid (this extra payment was manually refunded after the very helpful manager arrived at 5pm to staff reception). "Convenient location and good hotel for a short stay. Bathroom extremely small with no basic amenities (soap, shower gel, hair dryer). Friendly staff and good breakfast buffet."

"The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep. I never usually wrote reviews, especially but ones but the smoke was so bad if affected my breathing and I didn’t get much sleep at all. Not great for the kids either. All in...
