"The receptionist was very rude, the room was clean but in poor condition, and the walls were so thin you could hear the conversation next door perfectly. The hotel is slightly outside of the city center but still within walkable distance. For the price we paid would have expected something much better - would not recommend."

This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep. "We were only at Hotel Saint Jean one night but it was lovely. Although there were some improvements underway it was clean and nothing was in our way. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The hotel was well located. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were able to get a 3 person room which is hard to find. Breakfast included some meats and cheeses, more than the common croissant and coffee. "

"We have stayed here before and the hotel has lookled a little "tired". We had a a refurbished room and it was small but good. Sound proofing from the nearby TGV railway line is excellent so we were surprised that we could here a loud TV until 1am. Main disappointment was the sun loungers around the small pool - only 4 and 2 were broken. More loungers are promised for 2014. We will stay there again - excellent breakfast for the price."

"We stopped off here for a night on a road trip. It was amazing value for money. The rooms are updated and the beds comfortable. We also ate at the restaurant which was excellent (Although I wouldn't eat there if you are in a rush as it took us over 2 hours to finish our 3 courses.
