A mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold & milk rather than have to collect from the restaurant. "The apartment is really clean and comfortable. Checkin was however a bit difficult. There are a few steps you need to take online before you reach the apartment. Better to do these a day before you arrive."

"Overall excellent accommodations for a fair price. The only big missing item was that the property info, and the reservation, don't actually say where you are supposed to check in when you get there. If you don't know the British house system, you don't know that the Porter's Lodge is the place to check in to a college. I and about a dozen other, independent guests, all wandered around the property trying to figure out where to check in. You should have this information prominantly in your hotel...

"Was beautifully clean - which is quite important to me, so I was impressed. The bed was very comfortable and the snacks and small breakfast in the room was a lovely touch. Lady who greeted my partner was very pleasant and helpful. Only one downfall if you are a light sleeper is that the hotel is opposite a clocktower which chimes on the hour, every hour. Didn’t affect me as I slept through, but it woke my partner every hour! Wouldn’t stop us staying there again though as everything else was...

"We booked it as an emergency on the morning of our stay. We felt very welcome on arrival, Terry and Lynette are great hosts and happy to deliver whatever you need for you. The property is very old, "historic" is the right description, so be prepared for the "quirkiness" and mild inconveniences that come with it. We stayed in an on suite room and that was fine. Breakfast is cooked literally "whatever you like and how you like it", accompanied by stories of the property going back to the 12th...
