"The YHA is at the budget end of the spectrum but they seem to have slipped, the prices have gone up but the facilities are not a spotless as they used to be."

"Meals and presentation were excellent compliments to the chef, tried different meals each night of our stay 5star. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful as we were first time guests rapt that the staff remembered our drink preferences. Just learning our way around and had to come home. Would definitely recommend staying here again."

"Beware - this is not a private hotel with wheelchair access. There are stairs to navigate at rhe front of the property, at the front door, plus with the ground floor. The disabled bathroom is not an accessible bathroom. The water is set to over 80 degrees, the taps are three inches wide with no spindles. The toilet has a right sided bar but at the incorrect height and the toilet is not an accessible toilet. The tiles are slippery when wet, with the shower base ona curve. The accessible bedroom...

"Fantastic place it felt like staying with old mates. Social spaces are cleaned everyday and staff are super friendly. I ended up extending my stay because of how nice it was. The pool table and xbox was a massive bonus. They’re very welcoming to backpackers and those looking for a longer stay. 11/10 would recommend to a friend"

"Liked friendly and welcoming staff, cleanliness, free coffee tea and bread. Comfortable bed and communal areas. Only think to be improved is that I wasnt in receipt of the code to get in when I arrived. I didnt have a sim card so couldnt phone. I went away and emailed Frank to get it and then went back. Ideally an automatic email and text giving these details, before check out time would have been good. Overall this is my favourite accommodation place in Melbourne. "
