"I absolutely love this property! This is the 2nd time I have stayed there now. It was like staying in a cabin in the rainforest, it was so lush and beautiful. Check in was easy, the lady at the front was very nice. Basic, but everything was clean. And the water pressure in the showers is outstanding! I definitely recommend Magnums."

"We had a great 9 night stay in a budget cabin. It was quiet and comfortable and they cleaned after 7 days. It's about a 25min walk to town, or there is a 50c bus that picks up not far from the holiday park. The staff was friendly and they can help book tours. The only downside isnthat one of our burners on the stove was broken and the ac, while it worked, the flap that opens to let air out was also broken. "Friendly bar staff to check in and the meals were great. Good water pressure in the shower except it kept going to cold unsure if it was because others were using the hot water off and on. Bed was lumpy and I awoke with a sore back. Electric jug was provided but would have to get water from the separate bathroom. No cups provided for coffee. Thin walls meant next door's tv was very loud. But it was a welcome bed for the night on our long journey."

"We had a pleasant night staying at the Grand Central Hotel but there was 2 small issues. 1. No fault of the pub but take ear muffs for a good night sleep. For a small town Proserpines main street is very busy at night. 2. Some advice for the Pub Manager please ad add curtians or block out the small glass panel above the doors of the rooms to block out the hall lights when they come on. "The lounge didn’t fold out for extra bedding. The air conditioner didn’t work in the lounge room. The shower was dirty and mouldy. There was no glasses to drink from, not even coffee cups even though there was a kettle. There was cleaning tub with cleaning products in a bucket on top of the microwave. Overall cleanliness and presentation was not at a good standard and pricey for what we got in return. Very disappointing. "
