I was in Le Pouliguen for a wedding, rather than personal vacation, and the limit of my French is 'I do not speak French'. "We stayed for 3 nights in Sept 13. As always rooms in French hotels are basic and without tea making facilities. However the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The food was pricey but excellent, all home made and it was obvious that a great deal of time had been spent in its preparation. The location is surrounded by good beaches and the area is good for cycling and walking. Many good cafes etc serving excellent sea food. We will certainly stay here again."

"We used this hotel as a stop over on way home from holiday so did not need much but still felt disappointed as hotel is tired and room was very tardy. The rooms do not have air conditioning which is fine but absolutely no drinks or tea/coffee making facilities and when I asked for coffee downstairs we were charged even though we paid €80+ for stay."
