"Spent 2 days at the Forest Inn. I can throughly recommend this place. The rooms were clean & comfortable. Its a good place to stay to explore the New Forest We had dinner in the restaurant & the food was excellent, the breakfast were also excellent. The staff are polite, & nothing was too much trouble Have already booked to go back in the spring. "

"This was our second visit to this hotel and the first time seemed more pleasant than the second. The property is old and feels a bit unorganized…from the staff serviceability to the miscellaneous bits and pieces of items randomly placed. Maybe thats apart of the charm. "

We waited two hours have no one call us back !!! At the end we go to another Inn to stay!!! We need our MONEY BACK "

"Bit of a pain having to check into a different hotel before going to the one I actually booked. But for the price it was fine, clean and tidy. Very noisy though with traffic outside and people walking about on creaking floorboards and every door slamming. "

"Let down by small things! I'd stay at the Old Ship again. Switched room mid-stay at venue's request, but I was okay with that. Comfortable beds and great linen. Both rooms were freshly painted and had been thoughtfully decorated.. However, neither bathroom had a shelf - awkward - and one room had only an overhead light.
