"We were greeted by a lovely lady who was very friendly, even gave us beach towels to use prior to check-in. We came to snorkel and were thrilled with the easy walk to horseshoe Bay... In full kit. We saw two types of rays and numerous fish and coral. Also snorkeled directly in front of property where we saw a turtle in the late afternoon. Excellent location, nice private rooms."

"It is an older motel bit it was very clean and tidy. We were travelling and just needed somewhere to rest. It was on the hyway and easy to find. Road noise was not a problem. Lovely garden area out the back door. For the price it was great and served our needs."

"Lovely place, large and comfortable. The aircon was magic and the views were amazing. It could do with a full wipe down as it was quite dusty. It could also do with an upgrade to a smart TV, but having access to Foxtel basic was OK."

"Classic 1960's motel with views! An original gem, very well kept. I hope they never change it. It's a North Queensland icon. It's out of town but very handy if you're staying enroute to somewhere else."

"Very convenient place to stay the night if you are just moving through town on business. It was raining and it was easy to stay dry walking from my room to the onsite restaurant. Room was clean and tidy and the bed is comfortable. Although I did order the crispy skin salmon dish and there was nothing crispy about it. "
