"Hidden gem. There's nothing in that town. I asked the host to recommend me a restaurant. It was absolutely dreadful, it was a truck stop, a f*ck load of mosquitoes. And the food was .5 out of 5 stars.the beds sucked, no t.v. took them about 6 hours after we checked for them to hit the breakers, so we can have electricity in our small cabaña,no store within walking distance. Like 10 dogs on the property. Very beautiful place but I felt like we were intruding in their little paradise"

The restaurant's food was the best we had in the Yucatan. Our waiters were attentive and efficient. "Very dirty hotel and dirty rooms with no toilet seats. We saw a rat in the reception area and decided we could not stay there. It looks nothing like the photos. It feels more like a prison or insane asylum. We lost money and Hotels.com refunded us less than half what we paid, but I'm surprised it is allowed to be advertised on their website. We found the Jaguar Hotel on the outskirts of town and that was much better, but not great, but was OK for two nights, and worked out cheaper."

"Good location if you're headed to Zona Arqueologico de Uxmal. Pool area is nice, restaurant is good food at good prices with good service, which you need cause there isn't much else nearby. Rooms have good balconies, shower has hot water with good pressure. Only negative is wifi isn't very strong. "
