"We are so thankful this hotel is here. It is, by far, the best place to stay within 100 miles in any direction. It is always so clean, and the staff so friendly and helpful. "We booked a King size bed and then after going out to Supper and returning to our room, we realized they had given us a Queen size bed. I ran into the Owner on the way to the office and he asked if I needed help and explained the situation. We went to the office and he switched us to another room. He apologized multiple times for our inconvenience. The room was very nice and clean. I will put this on the list of places to stay on our travels if we need a room along the way."

Have you ever been through Boise City? It's an unusual place. The town was founded on fraud. Some con-men distributed pamphlets selling land plots. The pamphlets claim there was a thriving community with artisan springs. When the buyers of the plots arrived here, they found harsh conditions. Boise City was hit especially hard during the dust bowl in the 1930's. And in 1943, Boise City was the only bombed by pilots who mistook the town for target during a training exercise for WWII. This dinosaur greets visitors coming south from Colorado as they enter the town.
