"Really convenient location! My first time in Andermatt and travelling by myself... i arrived by train and the Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the station. The atmosphere and ambience was welcoming and they have a nice bar and restaurant area, and outisde seating too. Really relaxing from the get go! Staff were super helpful, my bed was nice and comfy, and although I was in a room that shared a bathroom, I had sole use of it for the 4 nights i stayed there! The restaurant food was tasy, well...

It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience.
