"Stayed here for a family event in another town. We had another place booked, but my deep dive into reviews of other hotels convinced us normally adventurous and up for most things city folks to cancel after reading about deplorable conditions. This place showed up as the cleanest and safest of the hotels. Overall, it was fine. "Checkin with a prior reservation was a breeze. The room was modern and clean with plenty of light. The bed was comfy. However, I noticed when using the back door to the parking near my room, the outside door doesn't lock! That's not a big concern though since there's a deadbolt on my door, the Motel 6 is in a good area of town, and Sedalia is not a high-crime town anyway."
