"The property itself is ok but dont stay on the first floor. The tub doesn't frain and you will shower in standing water. The bathrooms a very outdated and need vast improvements. The room itself is fine. If staying at this property i recommend the 2nd or 3rd floors and your stay will be fine. "

"My wife and I always stay here, even if our business is in Baton Rouge. We go to the Louisiana Book Festival every year since it started in 2002. Love this place, clean, roomy, decent breakfast if we want, bed could be firmer but that's okay. All staff we have met is friendly."

"I tried calling for days up until my reservation as I had an emergency and I never got through. I got there and tried explaining and the front desk person was very rude and dismissive. I was not able to speak or voice concerns as he countinued to cut me off, not allowing me to speak. I’m not changing anything on this review. "
