My only issues are that checking out its best to do after 7.00. due to needing to phone to unlock the main doors if you require to leave before 7.00 Checking Inn at a late time can be problematic due to the main Gate connects to someones Mobile and Signal in the area is extremely poor"

"The hotel is lovely but coukd do with a few tweaks here and there. My window wouldnt close, towel rail was hanging on for dear life and nowhere to put shower gel/soap in the shower. "Well placed in centre of Bakewell. Friendly staff. Nice large double bedroom with en suite. As they don't serve breakfast there were a couple of complimentary porridge pots and breakfast biscuits. Tea and coffee making facilities with plenty of t-bags, milk, coffee and hot chocolate sachets with packets of biscuits. Hallway outside room decoration was looking a bit tired. Had a very nice evening meal in the pub"

"First impressions on driving up were worrying, as the exterior is poor, with the front littered with cigarette butts, and no parking (a sign on the wall would be helpful as it look as though you can park there). The room though was a good size & very clean with a good shower, plenty of channels on the TV including streaming. had a good nights sleep which is the main thing though so that's okay "

"Turned up to the hotel to be told we didn’t have a booking. Zero empathy or customer service. I had driven 3 hours and myself and my 1 year old had no place to stay and hotels.com weren’t able to relocate us so had to drive home. "
