"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. "I arrived at 7.30 pm after a long drive from the South of France to find the hotel locked up with nobody there at all. The bar and restaurant were both closed as well. There was a handwritten note on the door giving a telephone number. I phoned and was told that there was a side door and I was given a digicode to gain entry and a room number for me. "My stay in the area was neseccary because I had to deliver my dog to Calais the next day The hotel is good and the owners very friendly but the village is not really worth visiting unless you have a reason If you have to be nearby then it’s perfect Clean comfortable room good quality dinner and good wine list "
