"It was a strange to stay. If you are looking for simplicity, solace, meditation, and walking around the grounds then this is your place to stay. The halls at night were dark. We felt that we were in the movie "The Shining". We stayed for one night at the beginning of September and it was hot, so we left the windows opened at night. They are no screens in the window or AC. "We were greeted by Alex on our arrival and shown to our accommodation which was clean and provided everything we needed. We were the only guests staying that evening so the evening meal menu was limited to a few choices. However, when what was on offer didn't suit all of our party, Alex went out to buy in food to meet our dietary needs in order that we didn't have to drive back out to the local village to eat. "For a budget hotel it was fine. We got in late and had a problem with them finding our reservation. But the front desk gave us a room and let us sort it out in the morning. I would stay here again."
